Dive Zone Bay of Islands is a distinguished 5 Star PADI IDC Training Centre. We proudly serve as the leading PADI Diver training facility in Northland. Established in 2004 by local divers, Dive Zone has evolved into a hub for divers of all backgrounds, meeting the diverse needs of Northland’s underwater community and those visiting the area to explore our underwater world.
Nestled in the marine paradise of the Bay of Islands, Dive Zone provides access to NZs most captivating dive sites. We can take you to explore the Rainbow Warrior wreck in the Cavalli Islands steeped in history, the HMNZS Canterbury wreck at Deep Water Cove which sits upright and fully intact, and also the many reefs and pinnacles that house vibrant aquatic ecosystems thriving beneath the surface. We cater to everyone, from seasoned divers seeking new challenges to holidaymakers of all skill levels ready to explore.
Our facility holds the highest safety rating in Adventure tourism in NZ so you can rest assured you are in safe hands. Our fully equipped Dive shop is manned by experienced professional dive instructors for all your diving needs.

Cafés Restaurants, Bars and Wineries all cater to international tastes, with fresh local produce and plentiful seafood. For an outstanding experience indulge in a wine and food matching dégustation one evening, or enjoy a superb breakfast or lunch with a freshly-made barista coffee – Kerikeri has it all.

Kerikeri is a shopper’s dream – clothes, shoes, decor, crafted wood, souvenirs, gifts, books, skin care, chocolate, wine and gourmet food items. A superb selection of shops awaits you, with some of the finest gift and decor temptations in the country! Watch chocolate being made and taste samples, stop by our original skin care shop at the Factory premises on SH10, or visit the Cellar Door at local Wineries. Find that special garment to wear or if you want to take home something special for a loved one or a memento for yourself, take a walk down Kerikeri’s main street. Visit the expanding centre at Waipapa and the row of shops beside The Warehouse, or meander through the town’s weekend Markets. Kerikeri has two large chain supermarkets. You are bound to find what you’re searching for.
